I think a lot about Leo standing up for his brothers in the things that really matter to them.

Like- Leo is the one who immediately pushes Mikey and Donnie into finding Raph the second it’s clear that their oldest brother is missing because he knows Raph can’t handle being separated like that.

Leo is the one who stands up for Mikey when Mikey wants to go on a solo mission, actively vouching for him and being the one to convince Raph into letting Mikey go, because being independent and proving himself just as capable of standing on his own two feet as everyone else means so much to Mikey.

And Leo defends Donnie’s honor in particular when his brothers’ intelligence is insulted because Leo is well aware of how important Donnie’s smarts are to him - and how important having those smarts valued and acknowledged is as well.

All this goes right into just how well Leo knows his brothers. For as much as he’ll tease or fight with them, he knows them, and he loves them.

#daniel ricciardo #dr3 #went on a hike the sunday after the official announcement and listened to this song on repeat for probably 3 of the 8 miles #POV: me in the middle of the woods telling myself to get it together #while crying about a 35 year old millionaire before I end up passing someone on the trail and they call the police on me #so song is about how female stars are treated overtime and when they first arrive they're praised for being authentic and refreshin #but once the shine wears off and they're a little older and reveal imperfections or they struggle they become a target for ridicule #and then they're discarded for the next new thing in town and the cycle keeps repeating itself forever #which to me so closely mirrors daniel's trajectory in F1 in the eyes of the media #but also when you take the lyrics at face value they are just so daniel...#the f1 ecosystem and more specifically the redbull “family” are fake as hell #and yet daniel is one of their most genuine products who actually can't be easily reproduced (but by god they'll try)#he showed a great deal of promise despite coming from a place that really never should've produced a successful f1 driver #because the cards were stacked against him and nobody really thought he would make it #but he did and he gave us 13 brilliant years (and he has SO much more to give and do and succeed at and he will)#but the wheel of time keeps spinning and the cycle continues for the next shiny new toy that they can nurture and then destroy #anyway i'm not totally in love with these gifs but I need to be done w/them and I had to exorcise this demon that was making me sad

this is normal behavior for writers for comics, right? scripting dialogue and describing the scenes by drafting all the paneling and dialogue and character positioning and having it in a horrendous single canvas divided into 10 squares since 10 was the page max and your poor artist is going to have a to draw all this so you condense the entire plot like a mastermind and still have time to crack jokes and draw cub’s entire buttcheeks slung over hotguy’s shoulders. sorry what were we talking about

so if you look at al's earring, you'll see it has the uppercase version of the greek letter pi. this was chosen deliberately due to its meaning in greek alphabet divination. according to this source (feel free to correct me if this is wrong), drawing pi im divination is a sign that despite all the suffering and pain you have gone through, you will emerge triumphant. i thought this fit al as he is very determined to achieve his goal of taking down the gods. and this resolve only grows the more he loses (i.e. being banished.) anyway, i just thought it'd be a neat thing to include :)

you know i dont really like the idea of evelyn being a bad person but i do like the idea of her being a bit woefully unable to understand what caleb was going through and accidentally coming across as condescending because of it

like a friend who truly saying it because they care but completely unable to understand the circumstances of why you're still there in the first place

Right and his work menaces (Brent and Karen).

I don't remember last I mentioned it but apart from crude nicknames to people (except Chris), he also just puts them in his phone really weird (except Chris, who is literally in his phone as Chris). And I bring this up because in Right's phone, Karen is saved as "Lawful Obligation".

#can I just. scream for a second #so as is news to no one #we need to start over the entire us medical system from scratch #also I would like to be flayed alive and start over from scratch in the skin department as well #anyway for context: I've had some kind of rash/acne/infection/irritation all over my legs for over a year now #have tried various products and changed habits and products to try and get rid of it to no avail #everyone said you should really just go to a dermatologist #(I was not that inclined to do so bc the previous and only time I'd seen a dermatologist it was not a good experience. very condescending #also I don't like making appointments and stuff. girl I don't have time)#but I decided to be an adult and go (my insurance info seemed to imply I could go with zero copay even)#spoilers: that was not the case #anyway so I show up and surprise surprise: it sucked #she was dismissive and condescending imo. was literally like 'well it could be A B or C but I can't tell'#'all of those are basically impossible to get rid of anyway but the things to try are X Y or Z'#I asked to try Z since X and Y are things that I already tried and did nothing (which I had told her!!!)#but she just kept being like 'you just need to stop picking at it. that's the real problem and that's what's exacerbating your scarring'#(wow thanks never thought of that!) (she also insinuated that my scarring was ugly)#girl I'm not 5 years old I understand.#unfortunately for me that is a compulsion so strong it would probably take years of directed therapy to get me to stop doing that #what I'm here to see you about is to figure out what the problem is and how to stop it from happening in the first place #and STOP TRYING TO MAKE IT A COSMETIC ISSUE #it's causing me pain and discomfort that's the main problem! I would like that to stop!! and me not touching it would not solve that proble #also I wanted to ask her about something else but they were too quick about it. felt very Handled if you know what I mean #but anyway #she gave me a prescription for topical antibiotic which was the thing I had not tried #apparently my insurance doesn't cover it and it's also made of gold and plutonium or something #so she gave me a coupon for it #but get this #when I went to pick it up at the pharmacy they didn't take the coupon #the guy said. 'um this only works for the generic brand. and we don't have the generic brand'
